This agreement with Old Dominion University is limited to graduates of the Harcum College Medical Lab Technician program applying to the B.S. in Medical Lab Science program at Old Dominion.

Old Dominion University will accept up to 74 transfer credits.

Successful applicants will be admitted for the B.S. MLS  online degree completion program provisionally, contingent upon passing the Med Lab Tech certification exam.  If the exam is not passed, the student will be able to enroll in the regular BSMLS program (not degree completion program), if space is available.

In order to receive these benefits, Harcum graduates must meet the following requirements:

• ​Must earn a grade of "C" or better for credits to transfer.

• Must complete BIOL 121N/122N, BIOL 250, BIOL 251, CHEM 121N/122N, CHEM 123N/124N, CHEM 211 and STAT 130M prior to entering the BS program at Old Dominion.  This should come to 18 additional credits.

• Complete a letter of intent.

• Complete 42-46 credits at Old Dominion.
